Urban Decay NAKED BASICS PALETTE

Urban Decay Naked Basics

I was very Excited to get this palette. It is after all my very first UD Palette!
However, I was a little bit disappointed when I got it. Not because of the product. Because of its size. I didn't pay attention to the size/weight when I placed the order. If I would of I would of been prepared. Here is a little bit of information regarding this amazing but small palette!

The palette came in this small cute box. With a like wax finish.

Back of the Box

My only complain is the size, it has 6 x 0.05 oz (around 3oz... I think) If Im right.. you are paying around $9/ oz.. (I got it for $27 at Sephora)  I was trying to find something to compare it to. So I chose my iPhone5
iPhone 5 is a little bit smaller than the older ones.
It has some pretty nice colors. 5 matte and 1 shimmery
I did a swatch on my arm so you could see what they look like on skin.
They are in the same exact order.

The colors are pretty pigmented. They are all natural looking colors. Great for an everyday look. Because of the size, this palette will be great for traveling too!
I wasnt expecting a huge palette, but the pictures make it look much bigger than what it is.

If you use this palette with a primer, The eyeshadows will last almost all day! and they are basic everyday colors so it will definitely be used... alot. So besides the small size. I love it!
Great Quality
Very Pigmented
Lasts all day if used with a primer
Colors for every day use
So yeah.. I think that if you dont have any of the naked palettes from Urban Decay you should definitely get the Naked Basics. If you are in to the neutral light colors like I do!

  2. Great review sweetie! The reason it's so small and all neutral is because Urban Decay was answering the grievances by people who didn't like that there weren't enough matte colors in the Naked 1 and Naked 2 palettes, so they created this one to be used in conjunction with those, if you choose to. I love this palette as well, but I really like to do matte looks, and on a day-to-day basis, I generally wear pretty neutral looks. LOVE your reviews. <3 Teri
