10 Things Im Thankful for in 2013

I have a good Health! (yes, Im having some throat problems and had to stop singing but Im not just laying in bed, I can do everything (besides over talking like I usually do)    I have a JOB I know of so many people that got laid off or are unemployed, Thank God Im not!!   I got to marry my best friend on February 2nd. They said the first year was going to be the hardest.. and it has been a roller coaster. lol But I love my Husband so much, he has been super patient with me adjusting to married life.    After 23 1/2 years... I moved out of my parents house lol I now have a Home with my husband :) Its an apartment.. but we love to call it our home.. cause thats what it is!    I did what I had been wanting to do since the beginning of the year. I started my YouTube Channel a week after my birthday. I was so scared to do it because my feelings get hurt super fast and I wanted to be ready, I wanted to prepare myself for the mean comments. but thank God I havent gotten any.    My Mom and I have became Best Friends since I got married. I had a good relationship with her before but since I moved out Our relationship became stronger for some reason.    There are not many people that I call Best Friends. But I know who I can trust and who will always have my back. I don't know what I would do without them.    My Relationship with God is not the Best :/  but I love him. I would be lost without him in my life! He is the best, I know for sure he has my Back!    I didnt know I was going to make some Amazing YouTube Friends. They know who they are. I get so much love and support some are just Viewers/Subscribers. But the amazing Comments and Messages make me keep going and not giving up. 
The Bounus.. Im Thankful for YOU! Because you are an amazing person, (and you're reading this lol) I might not know you, but just remember that you are Beautiful, and God loves you, & Remember to ALWAYS keep your head up!

Ipsy subscription. is it worth it?

Many people wonder if subscribing to a monthly makeup bag thing is a good idea. I know I did, I didnt want to be subscribed to something that might not be worth it at all. I took the "risk" lol
after being on the wait list (yes, there is a wait list) for 5 months!! I finally was a "glam bag subscriber" They take the $10 out of your account the 1st of the Month. and ship out your stuff around the 2nd week of the month. You usually get 4 or 5 sample size products. One of them is always full sized. I guess since november is a thankful month they gave 6 full size products and a little cute makeup bag.

I like it :) It looks like I'm wearing a lipgloss though not a lipstick

I got a full size Be a Bombshell lip crayon in the color "Hot Damn"

I had never heard of this brand before and let me tell you, this thing is super pigmented, I had dinner and the color stayed on my lips :) Thats a + for me! I wasnt a big fan of the color since I love my nudes and pinks but this is a great red with like a pink under tone. IDK but the color is amazing Im really liking it!!

I got a Starlooks Gem eye pencil in the color "Amethyst"

Again I had never heard of this ether lol. I like the pencil but I dont. Its very creamy but it doesnt last on long. So, Im like in between lol

I got a sample of the BH Cosmetics Baked eyeshadow, I got the color Eclipse. It is super pigmented and pretty! I love BH Cosmetics so I was happy! Specially since I dont have that palette and I have never tried their baked eyeshadows.

The Price: Full palette with 18 colors $14.95 I only got a sample though.

I got a Pixi Bronzer. I had actually heard of this brand but have never bought anything from them. I got the bronzer in color Subtly Suntouched. Which gave me just enough color to make it look natural but also gave me sheer and highlight. I really like it! This product also has Vitamin E. so it protects my skin! 

The Price: $18.00 (price includes a kabuki brush)

Las but not least.. I got a Nailtini Nail Lacquer in the color "Caviar Cocktail"

I have never heard of this brand. but let me tell you that I put this color on as soon as I got this and a week later (no base coat, no top coat) it had barely chipped!! I am extremely impressed with this nail polish!! I like it! and it only took one coat to get a full coverage. 

Price: $13.00

My Husband Does My Makeup

wet n wild megalength Mascara Review

The Purple wet n wild mascara as I call it.

I decided to try this mascara because +TwentyThirty GLAM talks about it all the time.
I was like, a mascara that 2 beautiful girls recommend all the time for around $3. I have to try it!!!

I got this mascara for $2.99 at my local Walgreens
it has .27 fl.oz/o mL
the actual name of it is megalength waterproof Mascara

I decided to try it and show you guys what it did on my lashes :)

No mascara, Just curled 

1 Coat of mascara

2 Coats of mascara

3 coats of mascara 

The mascara definitely gives length but it gives me spider lashes. I dont like spider lashes. If I use only 1 coat of it I dont get the spider lash effect but I dont get a noticeable length added to them. But this is now definitely my everyday mascara. since if I use only one coat you cant really tell Im using mascara and it definitely makes them fuller!

I got length on my lashes                                    removed the curl from my lashes (not noticeable on pic)

maybe you have tried this mascara and love it! I dont love it but I dont hate it. the wand is soooo little that its definitely amazing for the bottom eyelashes!!! and hey for $3 I am not complaining!! :)

Revlon Photoready Blush Palette

Here is a quick Review on this Palette

I got this from one of my BFFs for my BirthDay! lol my friends know me too well :)

I decided to Review this for you guys. 

This palette comes with a contour shade, a blush and a highlighter.

The weight of the product is a little weird but .... it comes with 

.086 Oz of Blush

.039 Oz of Highlighter + Contour

 The price for this palette is $13.49 at my local Walgreens

I tried to swatch this on my arm, but there was nothing.. you couldn't see anything just some shine. 

But here is what it looks like on my fingers >.<

As you can see. this palette is more into the shimmery side. I love it but as a highlighter!

 I obviously cant contour with this.

If you are looking for a full drugstore palette that has blush, highlighter and contour. I would definitely not recommend this. If you are looking for a highlighter or even a shimmery light blush. This palette is definitely for you! But in my opinion for a drugstore "highlighter" (like I call it) its a little on the expensive side, and its not a long lasting product. maybe if you use a setting spray it will last longer than it does on me.

If you have used this product let me know what you thing about it. like I said I love it as a highlighter :)

I was very Excited to get this palette. It is after all my very first UD Palette!

However, I was a little bit disappointed when I got it. Not because of the product. Because of its size. I didn't pay attention to the size/weight when I placed the order. If I would of I would of been prepared. Here is a little bit of information regarding this amazing but small palette!

The palette came in this small cute box. With a like wax finish.

My only complain is the size, it has 6 x 0.05 oz (around 3oz... I think) If Im right.. you are paying around $9/ oz.. (I got it for $27 at Sephora)  I was trying to find something to compare it to. So I chose my iPhone5 

iPhone 5 is a little bit smaller than the older ones. 

It has some pretty nice colors. 5 matte and 1 shimmery  

I did a swatch on my arm so you could see what they look like on skin.

They are in the same exact order. 

The colors are pretty pigmented. They are all natural looking colors. Great for an everyday look. Because of the size, this palette will be great for traveling too! 

I wasnt expecting a huge palette, but the pictures make it look much bigger than what it is. 

If you use this palette with a primer, The eyeshadows will last almost all day! and they are basic everyday colors so it will definitely be used... alot. So besides the small size. I love it!

So yeah.. I think that if you dont have any of the naked palettes from Urban Decay you should definitely get the Naked Basics. If you are in to the neutral light colors like I do! 

 

Purple Eyes using BH Hollywood Palette

For this look I wanted to create a cute but outgoing look. I made it a little shorter.. actually way shorter than my usual videos. Purple is one of those colors that looks good on people with Brown eyes. Let me know what you think.

I love this song. I love the Video, I love Katy Perry.. But why cant I find some Leopard Print to finally make my Roar Inspired Tutorial. I went to Michaels, Walmart, and this other Store.. and  NOTHING :( Hopefully today I will be able to get it. I really want to make this tutorial! its going to be amazing! (Hopefully!) lol

Dry to combination.. sometimes lol more dry than anything tho.. but not like super dry >.<

hmm.. I actually haven't been using one. But I think Toothpaste used to work for me

YES! They make washing your face faster.. who wouldn't want that!?

lol. I lost mine when I moved but you definitely want to use one!

7. High End Skincare or high end makeup?

I love my drugstore stuff. lol but I will occasionally buy some high end stuff.. They both work for me

8. What's the most unusual skincare product you've tried?

lol.. my cousin told me when I was like 14 that if you get a pimple you should put a little bit of your own saliva on it. (it had to be from when you just wake up) I did it.. I think it worked.. I don't remember tho.. I should try it again! lol

9.  Your in a French Pharmacy and you can only pick one item, what would you choose?

Definitely a Perfume

Always wear moisturizer

Always wash your face

Take a makeup day off. (let your skin breath and just put moisturizer on.. she will thank you later ;)
