                    NYC BIG BOLD Angel Lash Mascara

Im kind of picky when it comes to my mascara. I hate when a mascara makes your eyelashes hard. I feel like it damages them so much. & to me a mascara must hold a curl, if it doesnt then it sucks!

so.. lets talk about this new mascara from NYC. 

The Claims:

A weightless volume mascara

 non clumping

 quick dry

 and it leaves lashes flexible. 

I put it to the test..  and let me tell you.

Its definitely weighless!

dryes hmmmm ok I guess its not like omg that was fast, but it doesnt take forever. 

lashes are super flexible!!!! 

and

it holds a curl! (which it didnt claim that so this is a plus!)

 I have NO complain about this mascara at all. it does flake off a little (but I tend to rub my eyes a lot) and no smudging! & the price is definitely something I love!

The wand is so unique. It doesnt make bottom lash application hard at all. (another plus) I think the shape actually helps with the no clumping thing..

OK, Im not as picky with my eyeliners.. and if I dont like one.. something is bad.. really really bad. Anyways, lets talk about this new eyeliner from NYC.

The Claims:
Creates a precise or bold line in one single stroke
Long Wearing
Easy to apply
Fast Drying
I put it to the test and...

It can create a bold line in one single stroke.. a precise one.. NOT at all.

its not long wearing at all. I put it to the test before dinner an hour later half of it was gone

I dont think is easy to apply.. the tip is kind of thick in my opinion

Definitely not fast drying at all. I did a swatch on my hand as soon as I opened it. did my eyes and came to the kitchen.. lets say 5 minutes later. I touched it to see if it was smudge resistant and it was like I had just swatched it a minute ago. 

It has a TERRIBLE chemical smell. Reminds me of Sharpies (Im not even kidding)

If you apply it then go back over it.. it leaves a sheer mark.. not black at all!

I have nothing good to say about this eyeliner I would not recommend it to anyone. Get their liquid eyeliner.. that is a must have this.. NO..

I did receive this products complimentary from Influenster, so Thanks influenster!! Hope you didn't think I was to harsh with the eyeliner. But I will tell you exactly what I think of a product even if its free.

Lansinoh Momma Bottle

For some reason this thing is not letting me add pictures :(
But... I have to tell you my baby boy loves this bottle!  I seriously love it too! it doesn't give my baby boy gas, or makes him fussy when he is eating (he did this with a few other bottles) and the best thing.. he has absolutely no problem with going back and forth from being breastfed to bottle fed! I love that it doesn't have tons of parts and the nipple has a texture.. I think that's why my baby has no problems with it. I received this from Influenster for testing purposes and Im so glad I was chosen to receive this Because to be honest... I wouldn't of bought it on my own to test it out..

1st Day Back to Work from Maternity Leave

So Im lucky enough to have a stay at home mom. Because she is the one watching over my 7 weeks old baby boy. Im not going to lie to you, I shed a tear or 2 when I dropped him off this morning. But I know he is in good hands.
Some of you working moms might not be as lucky as me. you have to pay tons of money for daycare and you don't really know the people watching over your baby. But lets face it. Everything is going up! gas, groceries, rent, bills, interests lol. We couldn't afford me not working anymore... :( and it sucked. I never thought I would want to be a stay at home mom, since my mom did it my whole life. She cooked, cleaned the house, did laundry and took care of us.
I always said.. I will never be a stay at home mom, Im independent, I like working and having my own money, I don't want a guy to take care of me... When I got married (almost 2 years ago) I said the same thing. Im not staying home and becoming your maid honey lol Well, things change... After I had my little bundle of joy I changed my mind. I wanted to tell my hubby that I wouldn't mind becoming a maid like I call it. I just wanted to stay home with my little one, and take care of him, I would even learn how to cook lol. But like I said sometimes with this though times you cant afford it. I know my situation is different from many of you but here are some things you guys can do to be able to go thru your first day back from maternity leave!
1. Spend as much time as you can with your little one the night before.
2. Talk to him, tell him mommy is going back to work, and she is going to be able to buy him so many things, and that he is going to be ok! (this, believe it or helps you out a lot! (; because YOU start to believe it)
3. Before you go back to work make as many trips as you can to the place where your baby will be staying at
4. ask if you can do video calls! if you can.. you should totally do one at lunch time. Seeing your baby is calm and ok will help you get thru the day!
5. Wake up early that first day, cuddle with him, cry with him and remind yourself that youre doing this to give your baby a better future!
6. When you are at work, try to not think about it, at least for that first day. that way you wont start crying cause you miss your baby.
7. Remember that you're doing this to give your baby a good life, a better future, a home and remember, it will be over in 8 hours, it will all be ok!

Kiss Gel Fantasy

Here is an update on my Kiss Gel Fantasy nails that I received complimentary from influenster.

 

 

I loved them when I put them on. the design was me, it was unique. but the sad thing is the glue that came with them wasn't good enough. I lost 2 nails within 3 hours. and let me tell you, I did nothing lol. I was at my baby shower. so yeah, I did nothing to make them fall, I wish I would of used the glue dots that came with it. maybe that would of made it last longer.

This awesome ready to wear gel nails have an amazing shine to them. its like you just got your gel manicure at the salon. They are so much cheaper tho. Only $7.99 compared to a manicure for $40. I tried one on, and loved how easy it was to put on. it has this adhesive tabs and glue, so you can choose what you want to apply them with. I used the glue, and like I said it was soo easy. Im going to put them all on this weekend.. since its my birthday weekend!

So when I applied this on it was so smooth on my skin and it also made it feel like I was applying lotion on not sunscreen lol so I like that and it smells amazing. a full size of this runs for $9.99 I will definitely be buying the full size!

OMG.. This thing was amazing. I LOVE IT. ughh. its so good I was mad when it was gone lol. Definitely buying some on my next grocery shopping trip. They run for $2.99 per box.

This Dove Pure Care Dry Oil Nourishing Treatment, wasnt  bad, it did make my hair shiny. I was hoping for it to repair my hair. since I got the Ombre hair thing going on. maybe if I keep testing it out it will help. Keep in mind I have only been using this for the past week. Maybe once I use it all up my hair will be in a better condition. A full size treatment runs for $12.99

This product wasnt listed on my little card. I guess it was like a little surprise! the Skin Perfecting 2% BHA Liquid Exfoliant from Paula's Choice. I have used it twice. And I have to admit.. it gives you this amazing feeling. it hasnt broken me out yet.. which is good! and it makes me feel like I just got a facial or something. Sadly Im going to have to stop using it since it does have salicylic Acid and you shouldnt use that product while pregnant. But so far I like it. Im definitely going to give it another try after I have my baby.

26 Weeks Pregnancy Update
